Facts
Ms Ritchot represented herself at a Pre-Hearing Conference on November 24, 2006 before an administrative tribunal. There was discussion about the evidence and witnesses to be called at the hearing and the amount of time required to complete the matter. There was a verbal confrontation with the Chairperson of the tribunal during which Ms Ritchot swore at the Chairperson.
Plea
Ms Ritchot entered a plea of not guilty.
Decision and Comments
The Panel concluded that Ms Ritchot used language that was disrespectful and inappropriate at the Pre-Hearing Conference and failed to conduct herself with integrity and to treat the tribunal with courtesy and respect, contrary to Chapters 1 and 9 of the Code of Professional Conduct. The Panel found her guilty of conduct unbecoming a lawyer.
Penalty
The Panel received psychological evidence at Ms Ritchot’s sentencing and concluded that a further assessment of her fitness to practice was required prior to determining whether her practising certificate ought to be re-issued. The Panel ordered that Ms Ritchot’s practising certificate would be suspended until she provided a detailed medical report at a hearing before a Discipline Panel to consider the issue of her fitness to practise law. The Panel declined to order that Ms Ritchot be required to practice under supervision. Ms Ritchot was ordered to pay costs in the amount of $8,500.00.
Ms Ritchot has filed an appeal from the Panel’s decision to the Manitoba Court of Appeal.

It seems, Manitoba lawyers have bad reputation here than Ontario lawyers.

According to the Psychiatric VSM-IV classifications, all of you here fit in with some form of psychological disorders, what else would you describe the big man who was watched his wife having sex with other woman?
I know that labling can very hurt people' feelings, especially if they are smart enough to bring your fatal behaviours to justice; that poor woman who has no power and hierarchy; she is oriented enough to carry on these misterious communications in this site, and may be some other places as well.
Do not underestimate this game. It is more seriouse than you can immagine!
You could have been the most valueble people in this society if you did not purposely made yourselves into the most disgusting elite class hell monsters. People used to trust and obay you.
You will be extinct before you become the serial criminal that the law will have hard ime to control you. You will now be controled! You will not continue to use, and abuse, any other good poor women who has no power or hierarchy. The Good Dr. - don't agree. While The Landlady may have psychological issues, this site has done a lot of good exposing corruption within the Canadian legal profession and far beyond. Too bad there weren't more people like that.

I find these people strange, strange, strange! Don’t know what to make of it. Some blogs seem to attract the fringe element seeking attention and the opportunity to create an online persona associated with a particular site in this case yours. Then we have The Landlady and that weirdo The Landlord.
Don’t know what else to say other than you have to blow these people off and focus on the vast majority of your readers who are much saner. It almost reminds one of a mild form of online celebrity stalking.

I agreed. The only comment that made sense to me in this post is the first comment. The rest of other comments are very weird.
I found alot of bad posts here about bad lawyers out side Ontario. Is this represent any indication that Ontario lawyers rarely did anything bad, or Vic p. just did not post enough of bad Ontario lawyers, Judges, or the politicians etc......?
Isn't that this site is about exposing bad powerful people who use their power to abuse other poeple?
I wonder if these people have anything to do with either the abusers or the victims of the abuse, and may be the people in between. It appears as if these people wrote something about some wierd secret thoughts and feelings about somethings to themselves.
If that's the case, I can't wait to read about the full story. It should be really interesting.
